Chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission 

Sola Aiyepeku is a Chemical Engineering graduate of UNILAG with a substantive Banking background and deep-rooted passion for sports that started since childhood. From drawing football comics to organizing neighborhood football teams and tournaments, he developed into a seasoned sports marketer, administrator and astute manager. He has been at the forefront of Sports Marketing & Marketing, Club Administration, Publishing, Conceptualization & organization of Sports events in the Private Sector.

He served in Public Sector as Special Adviser to the late Chairman Lagos State Sports Commission, Deji Tinubu as well as on the Transition Committee of Mr. Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as his contribution toward developing the direction for Lagos State Sports.

Until his appointment, he was acting CEO/MD Kinetic Sports Management, organizers of the 2019 Copa Lagos Beach Soccer event.




Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission 

Oluwatoyin Gafaar ’Bolowotan’, Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission is a sports administrator, financial expert and brand enthusiast. A graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University where he studied Economics, Toyin Gafaar also holds a diploma in Business Administration.

The LSSC DG who was born in Lagos Island on February 7, 1968, hails from Ikorodu, Lagos state.

Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan has worked for top blue chip firms but was until his appointment by His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu the Head of Administration and Accounts at Prime Signs Limited. He is also the founder/chairman of Bolowotan Football Club and the proprietor and principal host of the Bolowotan Gold Cup (Ikorodu World Cup).

Toyin Gafaar has sat on the board of the Lagos State Football Association. He is married with children.

DR. KAYODE, MICHAEL – Director, Sports Medicine Directorate.

Qualifications:  MB:BS (IB)   FMCS(Ortho)  FMCORTHO, Clinical Fellow in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy.

MR. KOLAWOLE MOSES – Deputy Director, Sports Development Directorate.

Mr. Kolawole Moses Olusegun, a Deputy Director is the Head of Sports Development. He was born on 5th September, 1963 and attended Salvation Army Primary School, Ayobo, Lagos State where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He further proceeded to African Church Teachers’ College for Teachers’ Education. He attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife where he obtained the Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE).

He obtained BSc. (Ed) in Physical and Health Education from the University of Ilorin in 1994. Also, he obtained Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and Management from the University of Lagos.

He joined the Lagos State Teaching Service on 16th October, 1995 from where he was deployed to the Lagos State Sports Commission in 2017. In his active sporting years he had participated in various sports by representing his school in sports especially at NUGA Games at University of Ilorin in 1992. He coordinated the principal Cup in Education District II of Lagos State in 2008.

He was the Chairman of Nigeria Association for Physical and Health Education (NAPHERSD) at Local Government level. He was also the 1st Vice Chairman of the same Association at the State level in 2009. As the Head of Sports Development, he led the State Contingent to the 2018 National Youth Games (NYG) in Ilorin.

He was the Head of the State Delegate to 2018 African Youth Games in Algeria and the 2018 National Sports Festival in Abuja. He is happily married and blessed with children.

SOYEWO, ABIODUN BOLANLE (MRS) – Deputy Director, Finance & Accounts Directorate.


Mrs Abiodun Bolanle Soyewo was born in Ijebu-Ode.After her primary education, she attended Ijebu Southern District Grammar School, Ijebu-Ala for her Secondary Education, Federal Government College Odogbolu for Higher School Certificate and Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye in 1986 where she studied Accounting for her first degree and a graduate with honours.

She worked in several private organizations at various times, including Vanni Holdings Nig. Ltd, Triple Hays Finance Limited (Finance Officer), Unique & Trust Finance Securities (Snr. Finance Office) before joining the Lagos State Civil Service in 2000.

She has worked in various government Ministries and Parastatals as an Account Officer. She has also served as Accountant to several Sports Committees, including:

1        FIFA U-17 World Cup Local Organizing Committee in 2009

2        Eko National Sport Festival Local Organizing Committee in 2012

3        Lagos Developmental Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Games Local Organizing Committee in 2013 & 2014

4        Africa Beach Soccer – 2017 Local Organizing Committee.

Through dint of hard work and God’s grace, she rose steadily to become the Assistant Director and Head of Finance and Account, Lagos state Sports Commission, a position she presently occupies.

She is a member of several reputable professional bodies, namely:

  • -Associate Member, National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN)
  • -Associate Member, the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN)
  • -Fellow of Institute of Corporate Administration (FICA)

She is happily married and blessed with children.

OSHODI, TITILAYO (MRS. ) – Director, Public Affairs Unit.

Mrs. AGUNBIADE, BILIKIS OLAJUMOKE (MRS) – Assistant Director, Internal Audit Unit.

Mrs. AGUNBIADE BILIKISU OLAJUMOKE, Chief Auditor is the Head of Internal Audit Unit. She attended Lagos State University, Ojo where she graduated with BSc. Economics in 2009. She also had HND in Banking and Finance from the Polytechnic Ibadan in 1994. She is also a Certified Accountant and a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) in 2016.

She is happily married with children. 

Mr. Lawal Adewale Moshood – Deputy Director ,Information Communication Technology (ICT)

Mr. Lawal Adewale Moshood was born on 18th March, 1965 in Ibadan Oyo state.

He obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1984 and A’ Level in 1986 at Ibadan Grammar School, Ibadan.

Mr. Lawal graduated from University of Lagos with B.Sc in 1991 and later obtained PGD Computer Science from Postgraduate School, University of Lagos, Akoka in 1996.

He joined Lagos State Civil Service on the 7th of January, 1993. He has served in various Ministries and Agencies such as default PPTESCOM Headquarter as a pioneer officer Computer Resource Centre,  Lagos State Examinations Board as head Computer Resource Centre and later Assistant Director (ICT). He introduced the Web design Portal and online registration of all categories of examinations and Full Automation of Exams in LSEB.

Mr. Lawal was a pioneer Director ICT that implemented the production of locally OMR with candidate passport photograph and also the CBT exams for the entrance into Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary schools in the State.

Mr. Lawal was in FSMB department as Assistant Director and was the head in charge of Oracle Inventory Module at the Ministry of Science and Technology.

He has a Professional Certificate from Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN) and also a member of Nigeria Computer Society of Nigeria (MNCS).

Extra Curriculum Activities:  Mr. Lawal is an active member of Lagos State Public Service Club and has served in  Executive capacity as Financial Secretary, General Secretary and Vice President of the Club.

His hobbies are: Reading and Sports.

Mr. Raji Samuel Tijani is a Chief Statistical Officer who doubles as the Head of Planning Unit. He was born on 13th September; 1966 and attended Army Children School from 1973 to 1978 before he proceeded to Ajowa Community Grammar School, Ajowa, Akoko, Ondo State from 1980 to 1985. He graduated from Federal School of Statistics with OND in Statistics in 1994.

A member of Nigeria Statistical Association from 1996 till date, he joined the Service on 12th January, 1989.Mr. Tijani is a native of Ondo State and he is happily married with kids.
